Growing
Growing Tropicana Cherry: flowering time, yield and breeder specs
Tropicana Cherry flowers in about 60 days according to SeedFinder’s entry for Relentless Genetics’ original, 60–65 days in Barney’s Farm’s seed version and 8–9 weeks according to most seed sellers. Expect a tall plant with dense, often purple flowers; sources disagree on how hard it stretches and how well it resists mold.1,2,3,4,5

What the plant is like
Expect a tall plant with ample side branching, which SeedFinder suggests training into a screen of green; the buds finish maroon to deep purple with light amber hairs, though the color depends on growing conditions.1 Leafly calls it “a stunner in the grow room with an electric purple look”, Skunk magazine’s grower found the dark purple held after curing, and Prime Cuts Nursery says cooler nights late in flower intensify it.5,7,8
Indoors it finishes early for a sativa-leaning plant: SeedFinder calls roughly sixty days of flowering fast for its type, and Barney’s Farm says it designed its version for both flower and concentrates.1,2
What to watch for
Sources disagree on how hard it stretches and how well it resists mold. SeedFinder describes a mild stretch at the end of the vegetative phase and suggests a screen of green to keep it in check, while Prime Cuts Nursery says plants stretch to 1.7–2.2 times their height after the switch to flowering.1,5 Blimburn Seeds credits it with good resistance to pests and mold; Prime Cuts warns that the dense, resinous colas invite botrytis and powdery mildew late in flower.4,5
Seeds and the law in the US
Under the amended federal definition of hemp, viable seeds from cannabis plants above 0.3% total THC, including THCA, are not hemp.9 Congress delayed that exclusion, with most of the new definition, from Nov 12 to Dec 11, 2026; only the exclusion of products with cannabinoids the plant cannot produce naturally starts on Nov 12.10 Home cultivation rules are set by each state. This site does not sell seeds.
