Energizing or sleepy?
Mostly energizing. Leafly places Tropicana Cherry on the energizing side of its calming-to-energizing scale, and Relentless Genetics, SeedFinder and Prime Cuts Nursery describe an uplifting, cerebral high; AllBud and Barney’s Farm still list calming or relaxing among its effects.1,2,3,4,6,7 The parents point in different directions: Leafly rates Tropicana Cookies mostly energizing, and says Cherry Cookies behaves like a GSC, with sedation in the body and an alert mind.9,10
Why two batches can feel different
Potency alone varies widely: one in ten lab-tested batches came in under 14.17% THC and one in ten above 21.92%.11 The name also covers more than one plant: Relentless’s clone, its Trop Cherry Bx1 seeds and other breeders’ feminized versions, one of them listed with a different parent (see genetics).6,12,13
